Machined Glass Specialists was founded by people who grew up in the industrial glass business and is a true custom fabricator of quartz, silica, and borosilicate since 1989. Our fused-quartz technicians began fabricating quartz shortly after the process was developed in the mid 1960s. With over 75 years of combined experience working with industrial glass, we are able to continually evaluate and improve upon our methods, equipment, and efficiency—bringing our customers high-quality parts at reasonable prices.
Operating out of a 15,000 sq. foot shop in Springboro, Ohio, MGS is a small team of highly-focused quartz and borosilicate specialists backed by only the finest equipment, techniques and procedures. We enjoy the challenge of making one-of-a-kind parts, and have developed proprietary methods for cutting, polishing, and inspecting fused quartz and glass. Our technicians are fully trained and qualified to operate our CNC Milling Machines, Cad Cam, Waterjet, Polishing Machines, Blanchard Grinders and Cylindrical OD Grinders to produce custom quartz components for the semi-conductor market, quartz plates for UV curing applications, optical scanners for both the medical and nuclear medicine industries, or for whatever your unique heat-tempered borosilicate or quartz needs are.
